Bennet Gap Trail
Pisgah National Forest
The trailhead for this route begins along Avery Creek Road, which then connects to the Bennett Gap Trail (#138). The route gradually ascends the mountain to a ridgeline, which then levels off and travels through a beautiful forest. There are several mountain views overlooks before the trail reaches the return point at Avery Road.
