FULL MOON HIKE

Beginning with a gradual climb, the Bracken Mountain, Burl Mountain, and Brushy Creek Loop provide beautiful vistas of a meandering river and several tumbling waterfalls. Along the trail are diverse habitats found in mountain coves, home to various wildlife such as black bears, wild turkeys, and newts. Ferns, mosses, wildflowers, and various fungal species grow along the trail. However, the ascent is steep, so keep an eye on your footing.
